Tom Robinson has prepared a very fun track for the last race of the 08-09 TORO season! The 12 mile race course features a wide variety of terrain, from tight woods to fast and flowing field sections. A brand new tight woods section was cut just for this race. There are numerous jumps scattered along the track ranging from small table tops to medium sized doubles. The ground currently has moisture, So dust shouldn't be much of an issue. The dirt in the woods is loamy and the field sections are more hard packed. There are very few rocks on the property. The dirt for the pre-race recon was perfect and it should be excellent for race weekend also. There are a couple sections that feature many line choices over some hilly terrain. For the more advanced riders there is a 15' veritical rock wall and a couple large log crossings. All of the difficult sections have alternates. Spectating should be excellent. The property has a road/path that allows spectators access to many areas of the course including the jump sections. Check out the google map below for spectating paths and good places to view the racers.
The 1.5 mile long peewee track is about 80% woods and 20% open field. The track is fast and flowing with excellent dirt. There are a couple little jumps for the kids to catch a little air on. Spectating should be good as there is a path all the way around the course.
Camping is excellent. The camping area is very large and flat.
PLEASE BAG YOUR TRASH AND TAKE IT WITH YOU.
NO Campfires - This means no open flames on the ground, in a barrel, above the ground, etc. You may BBQ on a standard grill, but you need to watch it closely and extinguish it fully after you are done cooking. Propane heaters are fine. Anyone found to be violating this will be escorted from the property.
Thanks to Mike Bailey, Butch & Ethan Werchan and Tyler Chidester for riding in the video.
Big thanks to Brendan Griner and Jacob Bailey for giving us a hot lap around the peewee track!!!!
