The Davis, Oklahoma course at the Cross Bar Ranch is 10.5 miles of woods utilizing a combination of pre-exisiting trails and newly cut trail that will challenge everyone. This property is very rocky so be sure to run intermediate to hard pack tires.
There are several creek crossings - all have a hard rock base to them.
The hills climbs and decents are plenty and most are littered with rocks to keep you on your toes.
Camping is plentiful and there are several picnic tables scattered about. The electric hookups will not be available for this event and no campfires.
When you enter the property you will drive up the long winding road leading to camp and the TORO gate will be at the top of the hill.
The TORO trailer will be positioned to the right of camp just off the road leading back to the course. There will be a main road crossing at the trailer - please pay attention to the flagger at all times when crossing this area. No trucks or cars will be allowed down the road, but spectators are welcome to go down to access the back of the course on pit vehicles. 10 MILES PER HOUR - which is about 1st gear idle, please.
The 2 mile PW course (marked in orange ribbon) will be just to the left of the main camp road entrance- look for the signage. It is ATV wide, mainly flat and a mixture of fast flowing dirt and some rocky sections. There is also a small creek crossing. Make sure you stay on the trail! There are many large rocks in the weeds.
Texas Sno and Big Hal will be serving their delicious food all weekend.
PLEASE BAG YOUR TRASH AND TAKE IT WITH YOU.
NO Campfires - This means no open flames on the ground, in a barrel, above the ground, etc. You may BBQ on a standard grill, but you need to watch it closely and extinguish it fully after you are done cooking. Propane heaters are fine. Anyone found to be violating this will be escorted from the property.
Had camera issues. New HD helmet camera is on the way for the next recon!
This is the 1st camping area along the main road. There are more further down the road.
Google lists some hotels in the area. Not sure how up to date this listing is so please call ahead to reserve a room. HOTELS NEAR DAVIS, OK
