TORO Pre-Race Recon
#906 Antelope Hills, TX

TORO - Texas Off-Road Racing Organization

Overview

Marty Ishmael has done a magnificent job constructing a course with some fun sweeping woods, fast flowing turns, technical hill climbs and decents; all with just enough rocks littered throughout to keep everyone on their toes.

The hills all have several lines of varying difficulty - so make sure you take time during your practice to check them out... No need to just follow the leader - just pick a line and carry your momentum!

This course is seven miles all built on one side of the main creek to keep everyone from having to cross in the event of adverse weather conditions. The recon was done while the property was very saturated - Marty brilliantly laid out this super fun track staying completely away from the sloppy parts of the property!

The Pee Wee course is a little over a mile of really great woods, a couple ups and downs, some great sweeping fun stuff - the kids are going to have a BLAST on this one!

The road into the property is paved and there is plenty of camping area. The starts and TORO trailer will be down at the bottom of the enterance road where all of the camping is; Pee Wee course us on the left (ribboned in orange) and the big bike course on the right (ribboned in pink).

Be sure to have cash for your gate fees and a bag to haul your trash off with, please.

NO Campfires - This means no open flames on the ground, in a barrel, above the ground, etc. You may BBQ on a standard grill, but you need to watch it closely and extinguish it fully after you are done cooking. Propane heaters are fine. Anyone found to be violating this will be escorted from the property.
